Geely Okavango
Why this model
What makes the Geely Okavango worth importing
Seven seats at mid-size pricing
A genuine 2+3+2 three-row layout in a 4,860 mm body, priced against five-seat rivals. In markets where families are large, seat count decides the purchase before anything else.
Volvo-derived 2.0T
The larger engine comes from the Geely-Volvo Drive-E family, giving 160 kW and 325 Nm through a seven-speed dual-clutch and 0–100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
Sold as Haoyue L in China, Okavango for export
Geely developed the export identity deliberately, so the specification was set with overseas markets in mind. The second-generation car reached Vietnam in 2026.
Authorized Geely supply
We hold direct dealer authorization for this brand, so supply is factory-invoiced with genuine warranty documentation and allocation priority — not parallel-sourced.

A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model
Where the Geely Okavango sits in the market
The Okavango — Haoyue L in China — is Geely's seven-seat SUV. This entry describes the second-generation car launched in December 2022: 4,860 mm on a 2,825 mm wheelbase, 1,710 kg, with a 2+3+2 cabin. The lead engine is a Volvo-derived Drive-E 2.0-litre turbo producing 160 kW and 325 Nm through a seven-speed dual-clutch, reaching 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. A 1.5-litre turbo is also offered and is the engine used for the Vietnamese-market car.
Seven seats in a mid-size body at this price is the commercial argument. In the Gulf, Central Asia, Africa and Southeast Asia, where large families are the norm, seat count decides purchases before specification does. The 2.0T is the version to lead with: the Volvo engine lineage reassures cautious buyers, and it is the only engine in the range with published output figures. Supplied through our Geely dealer authorization with factory-traceable invoicing.
Two different vehicles carry the Okavango export name. This entry describes the second-generation car, the Haoyue L, launched in December 2022 and in production from 2023: 4,860 mm on a 2,825 mm wheelbase. The first-generation Haoyue (2020–2025, also sold as the Proton X90) is a separate car at 4,835 mm on a 2,815 mm wheelbase with 1.5T and 1.8T engines. Confirm the generation on the invoice.
Before you order
What an importer must know about the Geely Okavango
LHD standard; right-hand-drive availability should be confirmed per batch. Supplied through our Geely authorization with factory-traceable invoicing and warranty documentation. Both engines drive the front wheels through the same seven-speed dual-clutch — there is no torque-converter automatic on this generation, so plan for DCT servicing wherever the units are going and confirm a local workshop can handle one before a fleet order. Output figures for the 1.5T are not published by our sources; we confirm the exact engine, transmission and generation on the build sheet.
Market fit
Where the Geely Okavango sells
Based on documented export presence and how the vehicle suits local conditions — not a guarantee of homologation, which we confirm per market before you order.

Central Asia
Multi-generational families and Geely's strong regional dealer presence.
Africa

Southeast Asia
Seven-seat vehicles are the standard family purchase across the region.
