What does 2,000 Nm from 1,000 rpm actually mean for an operator? +

Peak torque available almost at idle and held to 1,400 rpm means the truck pulls a full load up a gradient without downshifting repeatedly. That reduces driveline wear, fuel consumption and driver fatigue, and it matters most on the mountain routes and poor surfaces where these trucks typically work. It is a more useful figure than peak horsepower for evaluating a heavy truck.

Emissions: the ETX 9 is available in Euro 5, and Cummins engines are certified across many regimes, so the position is better than for most Chinese heavy trucks — but confirm for your exact destination and model year.
