Foton Motor is China's largest commercial-vehicle maker by volume — light, medium and heavy trucks, vans, buses and pickups — with a fast-growing battery-electric commercial line-up. For export buyers this is a fleet and work-vehicle brand, not a passenger-car brand: the questions that matter are payload, axle configuration, body type and service parts, and those are the questions we quote against.
Foton is one of the most export-oriented Chinese vehicle makers, reporting sales in more than 100 countries with assembly operations in several of them. Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Russia and Central Asia are the core regions.
