Xpeng X9
Why this model
What makes the Xpeng X9 worth importing
Right-hand drive across six markets
Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia all take RHD X9 officially. For an MPV that is exceptional coverage, and it means factory RHD rather than conversion.
Five degrees of rear-wheel steering as standard
A 5,316 mm MPV that turns like a much smaller car. In multi-storey car parks and narrow city streets — where chauffeur MPVs actually spend their time — this is the feature drivers notice first.
Dual-chamber air suspension
Ride quality is the entire proposition for a rear-seat passenger, and air suspension is what separates a premium MPV from a converted van.
A range-extender version exists
The PHEV variant with a 63.3 kWh pack removes charging dependency entirely — the practical answer for markets where an operator cannot rely on public charging.

A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model
Where the Xpeng X9 sits in the market
The X9 is Xpeng's luxury electric MPV — 5,316 mm long on a 3,160 mm wheelbase, seating seven in a 2-2-3 layout, with dual-chamber air suspension and five degrees of rear-wheel steering as standard. Battery options run from 84.5 kWh LFP to 105 kWh NMC, with a front-drive version at 235 kW and a dual-motor car producing 370 kW that reaches 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds despite weighing up to 2,750 kg.
What makes it unusually exportable is right-hand-drive availability across Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia — genuine factory RHD, not conversions. It targets Toyota Alphard and Honda Odyssey buyers: chauffeur companies, hotels, airport transfer fleets and large families. A range-extender variant also exists for markets where charging cannot be relied upon.
2025-onward cars use 94.8 kWh LFP and 105 kWh NMC packs; a 110 kWh version is specific to Thailand. A range-extender (PHEV) variant with a 63.3 kWh pack also exists.
Before you order
What an importer must know about the Xpeng X9
Both LHD and factory RHD available — Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and Indonesia are confirmed RHD markets. Charging is GB/T on China-market cars. Note the kerb weight of up to 2,750 kg: check the driving-licence category and road-tax bracket for vehicles of this weight in your destination, since it occasionally causes registration problems. Thailand receives a market-specific 110 kWh battery, so confirm which pack applies to your units. The range-extender variant is the option to quote where public charging is unreliable.
