Nissan X-Trail
Why this model
What makes the Nissan X-Trail worth importing
Dual-motor e-POWER all-wheel drive
Front motor at 150 kW and 330 Nm, rear at 100 kW and 195 Nm, with no mechanical connection between axles. Traction control is electronic and instantaneous — better than a conventional system on slippery surfaces.
Electric drive without charging
The 1.5-litre turbo engine generates electricity only. Customers get electric all-wheel drive and electric refinement with nothing to plug in.
The X-Trail nameplate is global
Known as the Rogue in North America, the X-Trail is one of Nissan's most widely sold vehicles. Buyers and mechanics everywhere are familiar with it.
VC-Turbo variable compression engine
Nissan's variable-compression turbo adjusts compression ratio on the fly for either efficiency or power — genuinely novel engineering rather than a marketing label.

Nissan X-Trail technical data
Manufacturer figures for the China-market car. Equipment and certification vary by trim, production batch and destination — we confirm the exact build sheet before the order is placed.

A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model
Where the Nissan X-Trail sits in the market
The X-Trail is Nissan's global compact SUV, sold as the Rogue in North America. The Chinese version offers a second-generation e-POWER system that most markets do not get: a 1.5-litre turbo generating electricity for two motors — 150 kW and 330 Nm at the front, 100 kW and 195 Nm at the rear — giving genuine electric all-wheel drive with no charging required.
That combination is unusual and commercially useful. Electric all-wheel drive with instantaneous torque distribution works better than a mechanical system on loose or slippery surfaces, and it needs no infrastructure. For markets with poor roads, winter conditions or simply no charging network, it is a more practical proposition than a battery-electric SUV. Nissan does not export the Chinese X-Trail officially.

Before you order
What an importer must know about the Nissan X-Trail
LHD; right-hand-drive China-built X-Trail is not documented, though Nissan builds RHD X-Trail elsewhere. Nissan does not export the Chinese version officially — parallel-export with no dealer warranty. Nissan produces the X-Trail in several countries including Japan and Thailand, so compare landed cost and duty across origins; the dual-motor e-POWER version is the main reason to source from China specifically. Published China-specification dimensions are limited, so we obtain the build sheet before quoting.
