Denza N9
Why this model
What makes the Denza N9 worth importing
710 kW from three motors
965 horsepower in a six-seat family SUV. The tri-motor layout also allows torque vectoring that a conventional all-wheel-drive system cannot match.
DiSus-A air suspension
BYD's active air suspension system, which can adjust each wheel independently. On poor road surfaces the difference to rear-seat passengers is immediately obvious.
1,300 km combined on the plug-in hybrid
165 km of electric range from a 46.9 kWh Blade pack plus an engine, for 1,300 km CLTC total. A six-seat SUV that crosses a country without stopping.
God's Eye B driver assistance
BYD's DiPilot 300 system with the God's Eye B sensor package — the company's most capable assistance hardware, on its flagship SUV.

A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model
Where the Denza N9 sits in the market
The N9 is Denza's flagship SUV, launched in February 2025 — 5,258 mm long, 2,030 mm wide, seating six in three rows, weighing up to 3,245 kg. The electric version uses three motors for 710 kW, and the plug-in hybrid produces 680 kW with a 46.9 kWh BYD Blade pack giving 165 km of electric range and 1,300 km CLTC combined. DiSus-A active air suspension and BYD's God's Eye B driver-assistance package are standard on the specification.
This is a statement vehicle aimed at buyers who would otherwise consider a Range Rover or BMW X7. Denza has not documented export markets for the N9, so it moves through the parallel-export channel for most destinations. That means the sale depends on being straight about warranty and service, which for a vehicle at this level and weight is not a minor consideration for the customer.
Before you order
What an importer must know about the Denza N9
LHD; right-hand-drive availability is not documented for the N9. Denza has not published export markets for this model, so for most destinations it moves through the parallel-export channel — manufacturer warranty and after-sales are not automatically available and must be arranged locally. Charging is GB/T. Note the kerb weight of up to 3,245 kg: this exceeds the limit for a standard driving licence in some countries and changes the road-tax bracket in others. Check that before ordering, as it is a genuine registration obstacle in several markets.
Market fit
Where the Denza N9 sells
Based on documented export presence and how the vehicle suits local conditions — not a guarantee of homologation, which we confirm per market before you order.
Middle East
Full-size luxury SUV demand in the Gulf is the strongest anywhere, and buyers there routinely import premium vehicles through independent channels.
Central Asia
Flagship SUV buyers comparing against Range Rover and BMW X7 at a fraction of the price.
Southeast Asia
BYD's regional network provides some parts access, and six-seat luxury SUVs suit large families in the region.
Russia and the CIS
Established appetite for large luxury SUVs, and the plug-in hybrid avoids cold-weather electric range loss.
