Why this model

What makes the Denza D9 worth importing

01

Right-hand drive across nine markets

Hong Kong was the first RHD market, followed by Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Brunei. That is the broadest official export coverage of any Chinese luxury MPV.

02

1,040 km on the plug-in hybrid

190 km of electric range plus a petrol engine for a combined 1,040 km CLTC. A chauffeur operator can run a full day on electricity and still take an airport run to another city without planning.

03

BYD Blade battery in the electric version

103.36 kWh of LFP Blade cells — the same chemistry BYD supplies to other automakers. Thermally stable and long-lived, which matters for a vehicle covering high daily mileage.

04

Seven screens and massage captain's chairs

A 15.6-inch central display among seven screens, reclining captain's chairs with massage, and a refrigerator. This is the specification that wins hotel and chauffeur contracts.

A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model

Where the Denza D9 sits in the market

The Denza D9 is BYD's luxury MPV and the vehicle that established Denza as a premium brand — 5,250 mm long on a 3,110 mm wheelbase, seating seven, offered as a DM-i plug-in hybrid with 190 km of electric range and 1,040 km CLTC combined, or as a battery-electric car with a 103.36 kWh BYD Blade pack rated 620 km CLTC.

It is the most exportable Chinese luxury MPV: officially sold in Hong Kong, Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Brunei, with right-hand drive available across most of them. The buyer is a chauffeur company, hotel, airport-transfer fleet or a family that would otherwise buy a Toyota Alphard. Where Denza has appointed a distributor the retail channel is taken, so the strongest independent openings are the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.

Which version are you quoting?

2025-onward cars add LiDAR-based driver assistance. Offered as a DM-i plug-in hybrid or a battery-electric car — mechanically different products.

Before you order

What an importer must know about the Denza D9

Both LHD and factory RHD available — Hong Kong was the first RHD market, and Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and Brunei follow. Where Denza has an official distributor, factory warranty follows that channel and not a parallel-imported unit, so confirm your destination with us first. Charging is GB/T on China-market cars. The DM-i plug-in hybrid needs no charging infrastructure to function, which usually makes it the easier sale outside major cities. Note the 5,250 mm length and 2,325 kg weight against local registration and licence categories.

Market fit

Where the Denza D9 sells

Based on documented export presence and how the vehicle suits local conditions — not a guarantee of homologation, which we confirm per market before you order.

Southeast Asia

Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and Brunei are all confirmed markets; MPVs dominate family and business transport across the region.

Middle East

Hotel and airport-transfer demand in the Gulf with no Denza channel in most states; the DM-i version suits long intercity runs.

Australia and New Zealand

Confirmed RHD export market with premium MPV demand for chauffeur and private use.

Central Asia

Executive transport demand where the plug-in hybrid avoids cold-weather range loss and needs no charging network.

Denza D9 FAQ

Questions importers ask about this model

Should I quote the DM-i or the electric D9? +
The DM-i in most markets. It gives 190 km of electric range for daily city work plus a petrol engine for a combined 1,040 km CLTC, so an operator never plans around charging. The battery-electric version with its 103.36 kWh Blade pack and 620 km CLTC is the better product where depot charging exists and running cost is the priority — typically hotel and corporate fleets with their own facilities.
Is right-hand drive genuinely available from the factory? +
Yes. Hong Kong was Denza's first right-hand-drive market and the D9 is now officially sold in RHD form across Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and Brunei. These are factory builds, not conversions. RHD production is scheduled separately from LHD so lead times differ — tell us your destination early and we will confirm the slot before you commit to a delivery date.
How does it compare with a Toyota Alphard? +
The D9 is longer at 5,250 mm on a 3,110 mm wheelbase, offers a plug-in hybrid or fully electric drivetrain against the Alphard's petrol and hybrid options, and carries more cabin technology — seven screens, massage captain's chairs and a refrigerator. Toyota wins on resale value and service coverage in remote areas. For fleet operators calculating running cost per kilometre, the electrified drivetrain usually decides it.
Can EV Auto Pro supply the Denza D9 for export? +
Yes. We source the Denza D9 in China for export to dealers and fleet buyers. Tell us the configuration, destination country and quantity, and we will confirm current availability and send an FOB/CIF quote with the duty and certification picture for your market.
What does a Denza D9 quote include? +
We quote per confirmed configuration rather than publishing a fixed price we cannot hold. Every quote states the vehicle cost, inland transport, export handling, documentation and shipping separately, as EXW, FOB or CIF depending on your request — so you can see exactly what is and is not included before you commit to a deposit.
How is the vehicle checked before shipment? +
We check condition, appearance, mileage, configuration, battery status and basic functions before loading, and send you a photo and video report. If something does not match the specification you ordered, it is resolved before the unit is loaded rather than after it arrives at your port.
What warranty applies to an exported Denza D9? +
Warranty policy depends on brand, model and destination country, and some manufacturer warranties are limited or void outside China. We explain the actual warranty position for your market before order confirmation rather than after, and we supply common spare and maintenance parts for units we have exported.
