BMW iX3
Why this model
What makes the BMW iX3 worth importing
919 km CLTC
The long-wheelbase iX3 50L is rated at 919 km with consumption of 13.6 kWh per 100 km. That is among the longest-range electric SUVs of any brand.
Neue Klasse platform
BMW's new dedicated electric architecture rather than an adapted combustion platform. Efficiency, packaging and charging all improve materially as a result.
LFP on the entry car
The iX3 30L uses lithium iron phosphate — cheaper, longer-lasting and more heat-tolerant, which suits hot markets and high-cycle fleet use.
469 hp with xDrive
350 kW and 645 Nm through all-wheel drive gives the 50L genuine performance alongside its exceptional range.

A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model
Where the BMW iX3 sits in the market
The new iX3 is BMW's first Neue Klasse model — a dedicated electric architecture rather than a converted combustion platform — and China gets a long-wheelbase version. The iX3 50L xDrive pairs a 108 kWh battery with dual motors producing 350 kW and 645 Nm, rated 919 km CLTC at 13.6 kWh per 100 km. An entry iX3 30L uses a 77 kWh LFP pack for 630 km.
The range figure is the headline and it is genuinely exceptional, achieved through Neue Klasse efficiency rather than simply a huge battery. The LFP entry car is the practical choice for hot markets and fleet use. Parallel-export applies with no BMW warranty, which on a new-generation electric vehicle with novel architecture is a meaningful risk — diagnostics and service will be difficult outside BMW's network.
The new Neue Klasse iX3 has a China-specific long-wheelbase version. The iX3 50L xDrive is rated 919 km CLTC on a 108 kWh battery, and an entry iX3 30L uses a 77 kWh LFP pack.
Before you order
What an importer must know about the BMW iX3
LHD; the long-wheelbase China body is not produced in right-hand drive. BMW does not export the Chinese iX3 long-wheelbase, so parallel-export applies with no dealer warranty. This is a particular concern here: the Neue Klasse is a brand-new architecture, so independent workshops will have no experience with it and diagnostics require BMW tooling. Charging is GB/T on China cars. BMW also sells a standard-wheelbase iX3 globally through official channels — for many destinations that is the better route.

Where the BMW iX3 sells

919 km CLTC genuinely changes what is possible in a region with long distances and sparse charging.
