Why this model

What makes the Aion ES worth importing

01

Built specifically for fleet duty

The ES is a stripped-back, fleet-oriented sedan designed around low running cost and high daily mileage rather than private-buyer appeal. Everything about it targets taxi and ride-hailing operators.

02

10 to 80 percent in 24 minutes

60 kW DC charging recovers most of the battery over a driver's meal break, which is precisely how ride-hailing operators plan their day.

03

4,810 mm on a 2,750 mm wheelbase

Full sedan dimensions with genuine rear-seat space — the passenger comfort a taxi operator needs, in a car engineered down to a fleet price.

04

Already reaching export markets

Announced for Pakistan, indicating GAC is positioning it beyond China as an affordable electric fleet sedan.

A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model

Where the Aion ES sits in the market

The Aion ES is GAC's fleet sedan — a 4,810 mm four-door on a 2,750 mm wheelbase with a 53.7 kWh LFP battery, a 100 kW front motor, 6.6 kW AC charging and 60 kW DC charging that takes it from 10 to 80 percent in 24 minutes.

It is deliberately plain. Where the Aion S has moved gradually upmarket, the ES is engineered down to a price for taxi, ride-hailing and corporate fleet operators who measure a vehicle purely on cost per kilometre. LFP chemistry, hard-wearing trim and simple electronics are the point rather than a compromise. GAC has begun positioning it for export, with Pakistan among the announced markets. For an importer supplying fleet operators rather than private buyers, this is the most focused product in the Aion range.

Before you order

What an importer must know about the Aion ES

LHD; right-hand-drive availability is not documented, though the Pakistani market announcement suggests RHD is planned — verify before quoting an RHD destination. Charging is GB/T on China-market cars, with 6.6 kW AC and 60 kW DC. Published specifications for the ES are thinner than for GAC's mainstream models, so several figures are unconfirmed and we obtain the manufacturer's build sheet before quoting rather than estimating. Most destinations are served through the parallel-export channel at present.

Market fit

Where the Aion ES sells

Based on documented export presence and how the vehicle suits local conditions — not a guarantee of homologation, which we confirm per market before you order.

South Asia

Pakistan is an announced market, and electric taxi fleets there are actively looking for low-cost sedans with LFP durability.

Central Asia

Taxi and ride-hailing operators need cheap, durable electric sedans; a plain fleet car is exactly the requirement.

Southeast Asia

Ride-hailing is a dominant transport mode across the region and operators are electrifying on cost grounds.

Africa

Emerging electric taxi programmes in several cities where capital cost decides whether a fleet converts at all.

Aion ES FAQ

Questions importers ask about this model

How is the ES different from the Aion S? +
The ES is the fleet-focused car: simpler equipment, hard-wearing trim, LFP battery and a specification engineered down to a price for taxi and ride-hailing operators. The Aion S is more of a private-buyer product with a longer range option, more power and better interior fittings. If your customer is a fleet operator counting cost per kilometre, quote the ES. If they are selling to private buyers, quote the S.
Is 24-minute DC charging fast enough for taxi work? +
For most operations, yes. 10 to 80 percent in 24 minutes at 60 kW fits a driver's meal break, which is how ride-hailing operators actually plan charging. It is not fast by premium-car standards, but a fleet car charging twice a day at moderate power will also degrade its battery more slowly than one hammered at 200 kW — with LFP chemistry, that combination is well suited to a long service life.
Why are the published specifications incomplete? +
The ES is a fleet product sold largely through direct commercial channels rather than retail marketing, so GAC publishes less detail than for its consumer models. Range figures in particular vary by market specification. Rather than estimate, we request the manufacturer's build sheet for the exact units before quoting, so the numbers you give your customer are the ones the cars actually deliver.
Can EV Auto Pro supply the Aion ES for export? +
Yes. We source the Aion ES in China for export to dealers and fleet buyers. Tell us the configuration, destination country and quantity, and we will confirm current availability and send an FOB/CIF quote with the duty and certification picture for your market.
What does a Aion ES quote include? +
We quote per confirmed configuration rather than publishing a fixed price we cannot hold. Every quote states the vehicle cost, inland transport, export handling, documentation and shipping separately, as EXW, FOB or CIF depending on your request — so you can see exactly what is and is not included before you commit to a deposit.
How is the vehicle checked before shipment? +
We check condition, appearance, mileage, configuration, battery status and basic functions before loading, and send you a photo and video report. If something does not match the specification you ordered, it is resolved before the unit is loaded rather than after it arrives at your port.
What warranty applies to an exported Aion ES? +
Warranty policy depends on brand, model and destination country, and some manufacturer warranties are limited or void outside China. We explain the actual warranty position for your market before order confirmation rather than after, and we supply common spare and maintenance parts for units we have exported.
