Xiaomi YU7
Why this model
What makes the Xiaomi YU7 worth importing
835 km CLTC on the base model
The entry version has the longest range, because it is rear-drive and lighter. Most buyers do not need 508 kW, and the base car goes considerably further.
871-volt silicon-carbide architecture
Higher voltage than most 800 V systems, with silicon-carbide power electronics. Charging speed is where premium electric buyers now compare, and this is at the front of the field.
1.1-metre panoramic head-up display
HyperVision projects across the full width of the windscreen base. It is the feature customers remember after a test drive.
128-line LiDAR and dual 5G
Driver-assistance and connectivity hardware at a level normally reserved for flagship models costing far more.

A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model
Where the Xiaomi YU7 sits in the market
The YU7 is Xiaomi's second model and its answer to the Tesla Model Y — a 4,999 mm coupé SUV on a 3,000 mm wheelbase, launched in June 2025. Batteries run to 96.3 kWh LFP and 101.7 kWh CATL Qilin NMC, with a rear-drive base version rated 835 km CLTC and dual-motor versions up to 508 kW reaching 100 km/h in 3.23 seconds, all on an 871-volt silicon-carbide architecture.
It carries the specification that made the SU7 successful — HyperOS cabin, 128-line LiDAR, a 1.1-metre panoramic head-up display — in the body style that sells in the largest volume worldwide. Like the SU7 there is no export programme, no right-hand drive and no overseas warranty, so this is a parallel-export proposition sold on brand recognition and specification.
Before you order
What an importer must know about the Xiaomi YU7
LHD only; no right-hand-drive version exists, so this cannot serve RHD markets. No official export programme and no overseas warranty — Xiaomi does not service its vehicles outside China. Charging is GB/T; the 871 V architecture only delivers its charging advantage on a high-power DC charger, which most destination networks cannot yet provide. Note the base rear-drive car has the longest range at 835 km CLTC, ahead of both all-wheel-drive versions.
