Honda CR-V
Why this model
What makes the Honda CR-V worth importing
Seven seats — a China exclusive
The Chinese CR-V is offered with a third row that most markets never see. In regions where large families are standard, that single difference makes the Chinese car more saleable than the global one.
e:HEV hybrid with 335 Nm
Honda's two-motor hybrid produces 181 hp combined with strong torque, self-charging with no infrastructure needed and delivering genuine fuel savings.
One of the most trusted SUV nameplates
The CR-V has been a global bestseller for decades. Resale value, parts availability and buyer confidence are all established everywhere.
Chinese pricing
In China the petrol version starts around ¥145,900. That is far below what the equivalent car costs from Japanese or North American production.

Honda CR-V technical data
Manufacturer figures for the China-market car. Equipment and certification vary by trim, production batch and destination — we confirm the exact build sheet before the order is placed.
| Version | Power | Torque | Battery | Range | 0–100 | Drive |

| 2.0L e:HEV hybrid HEV · e-CVT | 135 kW184 PS | 335 Nm | — | — | — | FWD or AWD |
A dash means the manufacturer does not publish that figure for this version — we do not estimate it. Range standards differ: CLTC and NEDC read higher than WLTP for the same car, so compare like with like when quoting against a European rival.

About this model
Where the Honda CR-V sits in the market
The CR-V is one of the world's best-selling SUVs, and the Chinese sixth generation built by Dongfeng Honda in Wuhan has something no other market gets: a seven-seat configuration. Powertrains are a 1.5-litre turbo and a 2.0-litre e:HEV hybrid producing 181 hp combined with 335 Nm, both available with front or all-wheel drive. GAC Honda builds a closely related version called the Breeze.
The seven-seat option is the commercial hook. In the Gulf, Central Asia, Africa and Southeast Asia, where large families are the norm, a seven-seat CR-V at Chinese pricing is a distinctly better proposition than the five-seat global car. Honda does not export the Chinese version officially, so parallel-export applies and local dealer warranty will not follow the vehicle.
Built by Dongfeng Honda in Wuhan. GAC Honda sells a closely related version as the Breeze. China uniquely offers a seven-seat configuration.
Before you order
What an importer must know about the Honda CR-V
LHD; right-hand-drive China-built CR-V is not documented. Honda does not export the Chinese version officially — parallel-export applies with no local dealer warranty. The seven-seat configuration is a China-market exclusive and is the strongest reason to source from China rather than elsewhere. Honda also builds the CR-V in Thailand, North America and elsewhere, so compare landed cost and duty treatment across origins. Note the Breeze is the GAC Honda twin — confirm which badge is on the invoice.
Market fit
Where the Honda CR-V sells
Based on documented export presence and how the vehicle suits local conditions — not a guarantee of homologation, which we confirm per market before you order.
Middle East
Large-family demand plus Honda's strong Gulf standing; the seven-seat option is unavailable in the officially imported car.
Central Asia
Multi-generational families and trusted Japanese badges, with Chinese production undercutting the alternatives.
Africa
Honda's durability reputation plus seven seats at a price that Japanese-built cars cannot approach.
Southeast Asia
Large-family transport is the core segment, though Honda's Thai production may compete on duty.
